Hey! We’re Bernis and Martina, a dynamic duo bringing together local and global experience to offer seamless transportation in Punta Cana. Bernis, a proud local Dominican, has years of experience in the rental car and transfer industry, while Martina, a Bulgarian-born Canadian with a deep understanding of the travel and tourism world, brings a passion for helping people explore new places meaningfully and efficiently. She is also our photographer and content creator!
Our vision for this company was inspired by the many friends, family, and visitors who frequently asked us for transportation advice and travel tips during their trips to Punta Cana. We wanted to create a space where people feel at ease and can enjoy the comfort of reliable, straightforward service, right from the moment they step off the plane. As a local company, we are committed to providing stress-free and transparent transportation experiences, with no frills or surprises.
At our core, we love meeting new people and hearing their stories. We have both spent our entire lives in various customer service experiences. How do I reserve a car?
Contact us through the booking form or send us a message on WhatsApp and we will customize your rental or service based on your request.
Do I pay for my rental car in advance?
We do not require payment in advance. However, we do require a deposit to secure the vehicle, which is refundable at the end of your rental.
Is there a minimum amount of rental days required?
We do not have a minimum. However, rentals under 3 days are subject to higher pricing.
Planning to rent for a longer period? We’re happy to offer negotiated special rates for extended rentals. The longer you rent, the better the deal—just reach out to discuss a customized offer that fits your needs.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, we require a refundable security deposit, which is returned in full to the client upon inspection of the vehicle.
The deposit may be kept if problems arise during the rental, such as damages to the vehicle, late return, excessive dirtiness.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Credit Card, & Bank Transfer.
Documents & Requirements
– Passport (for the rental contract).
– Driver License. A license from a country outside of the Dominican Republic is valid for 30 days (without a visa).
– Drivers must be 18+ to rent a vehicle.
Are there any additional taxes on the quoted price?
Taxes are included in the price we provide to you.
The price includes standard insurance coverage and adjustments to your reservation.
Is there a cost for additional drivers?
There is typically no additional cost for adding drivers—we just require their documentation. However, in certain cases or special circumstances, an extra charge may apply.
Car Insurance
All of our vehicles include up to date standard collision damage insurance. Clients can add in more comprehensive insurance packages at an additional cost. Feel free to reach out to us and we can discuss options.
Car Delivery & Return
We offer free delivery and pick-up of your rental vehicle at Punta Cana International Airport and within a 20 km radius. For locations outside this range or select destinations, an additional fee will apply.
Need to head to the airport after returning your car? We also offer a car pick-up and airport transfer service for your convenience—available for an additional fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the service. However, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service may incur a fee.
Can I request a car seat?
Yes, we can provide you with a car seat suitable for your specific age requirement.
Tolls
There are select highways outside of Punta Cana that contain toll stations. This is the responsibility of the client. The tolls can be paid with pesos onsite (toll attendants do NOT take any other currency) or we can preload a rapid pass with an amount of your choosing, which allows you to pass through the station directly via sticker on the car. Prepayment is required for this.
Most tolls are 100 pesos (one way).
